Binocular Scanner is a patent pending, 3D scanner app that allows the online retailer or ECP to accurately acquire all optical measurements (i.e. PD, seg height, etc) needed to accurately produce a pair of eyeglasses. When taking a self- photo, the consumer does not need to use any 3rd party objects, such as a credit card, CD, ruler or additional object to “scale” for the measurements; as current online measurement apps require. The consumer only needs the app on an iPad, a wall mirror and an internet connection.
